Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, completing payment, or accessing the BrandYou234 platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the subscriber) and BrandYou234 (operated by its founders, Lagos, Nigeria). These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Service

BrandYou234 provides a Website-as-a-Service (WaaS) platform that allows Nigerian legal professionals to launch and maintain a professional website. The service includes:

• A hosted WordPress website on the BrandYou234 infrastructure
• A self-service dashboard for managing website content
• SSL certificate and hosting for the duration of your subscription
• Access to pre-built templates, practice area content, and design tools
• Custom domain registration and management (Professional and Premium plans)

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features of the service with reasonable notice. We will not discontinue the service entirely without at least 30 days written notice to all active subscribers.

Subscriptions and Plans

BrandYou234 is offered on three subscription tiers:

• Starter — ₦15,000 per month. 5 core pages, 1 practice area, subdomain only.
• Professional — ₦30,000 per month. All pages, 5 practice areas, custom domain, analytics.
• Premium — ₦60,000 per month. Full suite, 10 practice areas, priority support, gallery.

Subscriptions begin immediately upon successful payment. You will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of signup. Your website will be live within 60 seconds of payment confirmation.

Billing and Payment

Billing is monthly, processed through Paystack using Nigerian debit or credit cards. Your card will be charged on the same calendar date each month (or the next business day if that date falls on a weekend or public holiday).

If a payment fails, we will retry once after 3 days and once after 7 days. If payment continues to fail, your site will be suspended (not deleted) and you will be notified by email. You may reactivate by updating your payment method in the dashboard.

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first month. If you are not satisfied with the service within the first 7 days of your first subscription, contact us at support@brandyou234.com for a full refund. No refunds are issued after 7 days or for renewals.

Promotional Codes

Promotional codes (such as LAWWEEK20) apply a discount to the subscription amount for the stated period. Codes are single-use per account and cannot be combined. Once applied, the code discount remains active for the specified duration even if the code itself expires publicly.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum contract period.

Upon cancellation:

• Your website remains active until the end of your current billing period
• Your data is retained for 30 days after the billing period ends
• After 30 days, your site and all associated content are permanently deleted
• Custom domains registered by BrandYou234 remain in your name and you will be provided the transfer authorisation code to move the domain to any registrar of your choice

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload to your BrandYou234 website. This includes your firm name, biographical information, case results, testimonials, photos, and any custom text you add.

By using the service, you grant BrandYou234 a limited licence to host, display, and deliver your content as part of operating the service. We do not use your content for marketing, training, or any other purpose without your explicit written consent.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content complies with Nigerian law, including the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the platform to:

• Publish false or misleading information about your qualifications or case outcomes
• Violate the Nigerian Bar Association Rules of Professional Conduct
• Distribute malware, spam, or engage in phishing
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Engage in any activity that violates Nigerian law

BrandYou234 reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

Custom Domains

On Professional and Premium plans, BrandYou234 registers a custom domain on your behalf as part of your subscription. The domain is registered in your name as the registrant. Domain renewal fees are covered by BrandYou234 for the duration of your active subscription.

If you cancel your subscription, you retain ownership of your domain. BrandYou234 will provide the EPP/authorisation code within 5 business days of a cancellation request so you can transfer the domain to any registrar.

Limitation of Liability

BrandYou234 provides the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, BrandYou234 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any calendar month shall not exceed the subscription fee paid in that month.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to operate the service:

• Account data: Your name, email address, WhatsApp number, firm name, and billing information
• Website content: The content you create on your website (practice areas, case results, photos, etc.)
• Usage data: How you interact with the dashboard (to improve the product)
• Payment data: Handled entirely by Paystack. BrandYou234 does not store card numbers or CVV codes.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and diagnostics

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Operate and maintain your website and dashboard
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send you account notifications, invoices, and support responses
• Improve the platform based on usage patterns
• Comply with Nigerian legal and regulatory requirements

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Data Sharing

We share your data only with the service providers necessary to operate the platform:

• Paystack — Payment processing
• SendGrid — Transactional email delivery
• Contabo — Server infrastructure hosting
• Domain registrar — For custom domain registration

All service providers are bound by appropriate data processing agreements. We do not share your data with any other third party without your consent.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, we retain your data for 30 days to allow for account reactivation. After 30 days, all personal data and website content is permanently deleted from our servers.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@brandyou234.com. We will process the request within 5 business days.

Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by Nigerian financial regulations.
